  3. Paste the link into the "Playlist URL" box.
  4. Then press the download button.
  5. After the playlist's info appears, confirm your download.
  6. All the tracks will begin to be added to your downloads.
  7. You'll see them appear in the app's "Videos" tab.

Playlist Tips

You can use playlists you create, or playlists that were shared to you. The playlist must be either Public or Unlisted, it can NOT be Private. Once you have downloaded a playlist, you can go back to that playlist in the app. Revisiting a playlist will let you automatically add any new tracks that have been added to that playlist since you last checked.

Finding Downloaded Tracks

After you've downloaded a playlist, the easiest way to find those tracks is to open the playlist in the app's Playlist tab. The opened playlist will show some action buttons like "Update". Press the "Go To" button. It takes you to the Videos tab nicely filtered to show only that playlist's videos.

Updating Track Info, Artwork, Play Ordering

All these features are inside the "Videos" tab in the Cloudless Playlist app. In Videos, you can edit MP3 metadata, album covers, track listing, plus many others.

Album Title, Artist, Genre, Year

Because track info like artist, genre, etc can be the same for multiple songs, updating multiple songs is the default behavior. Click the checkbox or album art for as many song as you intend to edit. The following fields will appear:

  1. Artist
  2. Genre
  3. Album
  4. Year

The song titles you selected will show above all these fields in their own box. After updating whichever track attributes you want to change, press save.

Track Title, Trim Track Length

To change a track's title, make sure none are selected at first. You will know there are no other items selected two ways:

  1. The checklist icon in the top tabs bar says "Select All" when hovered over.
  2. That icon says "Deselect All" when hovered, then you click the button to deselect all.

Once everything is deselected, click the "Edit" button on any track you want to edit. A new panel will show up that has buttons labelled, "Preview Song" or "Toggle Trim Mode". To update the title, add or change the text in the sole text box. As soon as you change the title, an additional button will appear. When you are done typing the new title, press the "Update Title" button. The "Toggle Trim Mode" allows you to trim some of the beginning of the MP3 or also from the end. You can only trim from start or end, preview how it will sound, then click either "Trim Song" or "Revert".

Artwork & Cover Art

In Cloudless Playlist, you are only able to set the cover art to an already existing album cover. The app doesn't support uploading images at the moment. To set the album art, click the "Artwork" tab. When Artwork is engaged, the items you select will be added to a list. All these items will have their cover art updated if you click "Set Thumbnail". The art that will be applied is shown in the image box above the button.

Play Ordering

Setting the track number order for one or more items is nearly the same as setting the cover art. To set the track order, click the "Track #s" tab. When Track #s is engaged, the items you select will be added to a list. The order you add items to the list will show in the new track numbers panel. All these items will update to their new track number if you click "Set Track Numbers". The list of tracks in the panel will show their original number, an arrow, then the new number it will receive.

Syncing & Exporting To Device

Cloudless Playlist supports exporting all the playlists you have added to the app as standard playlist files (.m3u) seen by music players like iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. In the "Videos" tab of the app, on the top tab bar, there is button that says "Export" when hovered over. Click on the export button to add up-to-date playlist files for each playlist you have downloaded.
